Lucriq (‘we’, ‘us’ and ‘our’) operates lucriq.com from Armenia. We decide how the personal information described in this policy is used. This policy explains how we handle personal information when you visit this website or email us. You can contact us at hello@lucriq.com.
1. Information we receive
When you visit the website, our providers process technical information about the requests your browser makes, such as your IP address, the page requested, and your browser and device, and keep it in their logs.
If you email us, we receive your email address, your name if your email shows it, your message and any attachments. Our email providers process the message on its way to us, and our email forwarding provider keeps a record of each delivery.
The analytics service collects information about the pages you view, the referring page, your browser, operating system and device type, your approximate country, and page loading performance.
You do not have to email us. Your browser needs to send technical request information for pages to load.
Analytics is not needed for the website to work. You can block the analytics script with your browser’s settings or a content blocker, and the pages still work without it.
2. Why we use it
We use technical request information to deliver the website, understand and fix errors, and protect it against abuse. We use analytics to understand which pages are visited and how well they load. We use correspondence to respond to your messages and keep a record of the conversation.
Where the GDPR or UK GDPR applies, we rely on our legitimate interests in delivering the website and keeping it secure, understanding how it is used and how well it performs, answering correspondence and keeping a record of it, and deleting old correspondence on time. You can object to these uses; see section 6.
3. Cookies and website scripts
Our website delivery provider helps deliver and protect the website. The analytics service runs a browser script to measure visits and page performance. This analytics script does not use cookies or browser storage.
Cookies may be used for security checks, administrator sign-in or access to a private preview.
4. Providers and processing locations
We use service providers to host the website, deliver and protect it, measure visits, forward our email and host our mailbox. Our website delivery and email providers may process information outside the UK and EEA, including in the United States. Where information goes outside the UK or EEA, our providers rely on recognized safeguards, such as the EU standard contractual clauses or the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework. You can email us for details. We access this information from Armenia.
5. How long information is kept
| Information | Retention |
|---|---|
| Website logs (hosting, delivery and security) | Kept by our hosting and delivery providers for periods each of them sets. We will add the periods here once they confirm them to us. Our website backups may include copies of these logs. Daily backups are kept for 7 days, and weekly backups for 6 weeks under our hosting provider’s published policy. |
| Analytics | Our analytics provider keeps full analytics records for 7 days and a smaller sample for longer. Reports cover up to six months. |
| We keep email conversations for 12 months after the last message, unless we need them longer for a dispute or a legal obligation. Shortly after that, a daily automated check moves them to our mailbox’s Trash, where they stay for up to 30 days before our mailbox provider deletes them. Our mailbox provider’s own deletion processes, including for backup copies, can take longer. | |
| Email delivery records | 31 days. |
6. Your choices and requests
Depending on the law that applies, you may have rights to access, correct or delete your personal information, restrict or object to certain uses, or receive a copy of it. Where processing relies on consent, you may withdraw that consent. You may also have a right to complain to a data protection authority, in particular the one in the country where you live or work, or where you think the problem happened.
Your right to object. Where we rely on our legitimate interests (section 2), you can object at any time to our use of your information, on grounds relating to your situation. Email hello@lucriq.com.
Email hello@lucriq.com to make a request. We may need information to verify your identity before responding. Please avoid including sensitive information that is unnecessary for your request.
7. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as the website or our practices change. The dates above identify the applicable version.
8. Purchases after paid plans launch
Lucriq does not currently accept payments or send website visitor information to Paddle.
Once paid plans launch and Paddle has approved sales, Paddle will process checkout and payment information as our reseller and Merchant of Record under its own Privacy Notice.
